I'm a 33/yo semi-pro electric/acoustic guitarist looking for fill-in or steady gigs. I've been playing for 20 years now and am pretty good. Also, I've played with quite a few bands here in Houston as a free lance fill-in so I know my way around town and have an OK knowledge of the music scene here.

My skills are pretty versatile. I can play rock, blues, jazz, country, reggae, Spanish, acoustic, pop, Christian, ...etc. and i play them fairly well. I can also read music, charts, etc. and have a good ear to pick things up very quickly. I'm not interested in heavy-metal, screamer bands, jazz-rock fusion bands (a la john scofield), tribute bands, or wierdo bands (no example). I'd prefer to play with an established band rather than help build a band.

I also do weddings and private parties (classical guitar, acoustic guitar, even mellow jazz electric guitar).

I have all my own quality gear, my own wheels, live in NW Houston, and am ready to audition for a great band.
