Background: My prior band disbanded and I am looking to start up something new. At the moment I (a guitarist) have a female vocalist lined up. I would like to team up the female vocalist with a male vocalist. Also still need drums, bass, and either a keyboardist or second guitarist (or both or someone who can play both and switch back and forth based on song). Voodoo Koolaid is just a placeholder. We can all pick a name together.
What I want from the band: The bands that I think stand out the most are not only those who play well and sound good, but also are fun to watch. I want to play songs that get people excited and involved, but that we also, as musicians, are having fun playing. And the fun that we have on stage needs to project to the audience.
What I want from band members: People that are: (a) prepared for practice; (b) responsible and communicate well; (c) professional and dependable; (d) proficient at their instrument; (e) charismatic; (f) fun and easy to get along with; (g) energetic performers; (h) low to no ego bandmates; (i) experienced playing in band settings.
