I want to practice with a group and play gigs! This has become my personal ambition. I practice hard and often. I work evenings, so early afternoon is best for practice.

Style wise, I tend to split myself between pick and finger style. Finger style is my forte, but I love the punch I get from using heavy picks. Looking for preferably good original material, but I don't mind doing some covers if need be.

I like to be the supporting role, as a bass should be in a band, but I like to stand out at the same time by throwing some of my own stuff just to mix it up, but not disrupt the flow of the song itself.

Influences:

I have influences from American rock, and J-rock. On the American side we've got Hoobastank, Bullet for My Valentine, Yellowcard, Googoo dolls, and various other bands. I tend to skip around a bit.

On the Japanese side, we've got UVERworld first and foremost. Their bassist is the reason I play the bass at all. Also L'arc~en~ciel (another amazing bassist), ELLEGARDEN, and various others.

It may seem odd to dabble in Jrock, but I love it.
