Looking for musicians to collaborate with. We hail from central Indiana.

Kaleigh's artistic project Walden’s Edge combines music, writing, art, philosophy, politics, and many other areas in a unique and creative way. Kaleigh hopes to form an artistic community with people contributing in these and many other areas.

Kaleigh's a fairly proficient clarinetist and an okay guitarist and bassist (and is currently learning the piano) and ze has written quite a few songs, including lyrics, but unfortunately, their grasp on music composition is a bit more advanced than her current playing abilities, so virtually all of zir music is digitally created, owing to hand-eye coordination issues related to being autistic and having dyspraxia. They also have cervical disc herniation, myelopathy of the cervical spine with cervical radiculopathy, degenerative arthritis of the cervical spine with cord compression, spinal stenosis of the the lumbar region with neurogenic claudication, lumbar degenerate disc disease, and lumbar radiculopathy, which all affect their ability to play an instrument due to sporadic loss of functionality in her arms and legs. Ze is looking for harsh and clean vocalists, drummers, bassists, guitarists, and keyboardists. Other instrumentation and vocal styles also welcome.

Influences

Kaleigh generally writes prog metal-oriented music, with their newer music most heavily inspired by prog/tech death bands like Obscura, Gorod, Serdce, Cynic, Archspire, etc., but with more Marxist-Leninist-oriented lyrics inspired by Rage Against the Machine and System of a Down. All of her music (so far) is concept work related to currently developing poems and graphic novellas.
