Hey, what's going on? I'm a 23 year old guitarist/songwritier/vocals looking to start an original band that plays some covers, not the other way around. I only say plays covers b/c that's what most venues and crowds want to hear. Pittsburgh kind of lost it's flavor for original music these last few years. Anyways, tensions are starting to rise with my current band, b/c of different view points. So I'm looking to start something new.

My last band started a as a duo (the singer and myself) a little over a year ago. Since that time we have played well over 30 shows equalling out to a little over a show every other weekend. We played at such venues as Club Cafe, Cefalo's, Howler's Coyote Cafe and Molly Brannigans. We played at various small bars around the North Hills, as well as Green Cove Yacht Club, Joe's Crab Shack Station Square, the Pittsburgh Zoo, private shows and art galleries.We also did a couple benefit shows at the Lawrenceville Moose and in North Park for Animal Friends Bark in the Park.

In that time, we wrote over 25 originals and can play well over 80 covers. I wrote the music for all of our originals as well as some of the lyrics.

In other words, I know the tone I'm looking for and I know my sh*t. I have a certain style and composition skills that many original band may lack. I have pro gear. My originals are well composed and are good. They capture the essence of my style and are relentless in artistic expression with ultimate the commercial appeal.

I've been playing guitar for over 13 years. I know my instrument. I'm a rythm guitarist with lead capabilities. However, I prefer being the workhorse (rhythm). I can add some leads, fills and riffs, but I'm not a lead guitarist. I actually prefer switching between the two.
