Despond is a very odd Avant-Garde Blackened Death project. I'm honestly at a loss for words when it comes to explaining the musical style, you'll just have to judge it when you hear it.

Influences

Everyone in the group draws from a well of mixed metal genres, so expect a little of everything I guess?

Equipment List

We practice out in Warrenton every Sunday, more days will probably be added in the future. I can't give you the specifics on the equipment right now, but I will have them posted around next week, but every musician is accounted for equipment wise, including PA, and an additional keyboard if needed. However, an adequate keyboard is a plus.

As for the members, our guitarist Dave Fischer has is an astounding guitarist with a very odd off-kilter, yet technical sense of melody. The bass player Michael Francisco and myself (lead vocalist) are formerly from the band Recrudescence, which toured with many well known bands such as Cephalic Carnage, Cattle Decapition, Necrophagist, and Vader, on major tours such as Summer Slaughter 2007 and also released one EP and a full length album known as 'Tracking the Decline of Human Society', Included in our lineup is the drummer Nathan Earnst who was formerly playing in a local thrash band known as 'Thy Damage Done'.

Currently our lineup is only missing a second guitarist and keyboard player.
