We have 3 potential open slots.
Bass Guitarist:
(Needs to have a 5 string) - We tune to drop B on guitar for many songs. Ideally you have pro level bass + amp + effects.
2nd Lead Guitarist:
We would like to find someone who can play lead parts / do some tasteful solos. But also we'd like to have a guitarist that has a good range of effects. We tune to Drop B on many songs. That tuning isn't changing for material we have written already as the guitars and bass for the album are already recorded. A few songs I tune to E on my acoustic guitar.
Keyboards / Samples:
To be considered as our keyboard / sample guy... On top of being able to play the piano / keys, you'll need to have a decent laptop computer or mac mini, a Midi Keyboad controller + you'll want some kind of sample pads. You'll also need to know Ableton Live + Reason. We're looking for someone who can play piano parts, synth parts, hit samples, hit bass drops, etc.
Note: All potential members who wish to try out need to have pro or at least semi pro level gear, reliable transportation, and the ability to practice 2-3 times per week as well as be able to gig in town to start and out of town eventually.
EQUIPMENT
We play using a click track and in ear monitors. We mix in ear sound using a Mackie 1608. Which allows each member to control their own in ear mix via ipad / iphone / ipod if they have wireless in ear monitors.
