Tracks 1 - 3 are samples of some original demos featuring
myself on guitar and my more recent, but former vocalist.

Tracks 4 & 5 feature my black Les Paul and Marshalls, Live.
a bit of nonsense, but some fire there.
from a live show with my old band,
and one of the last years that i played guitar with a pick.
the cassette tape transfer was just done maybe a month ago,
and the tape is old and lags a bit.
working on a better transfer of this show.

recording a full cd of 10 songs.
(Tracks 1 thru 3 uptop, represent what i am doing nowadays.)
everything is written, and tracks being currently recorded.
very much blues - funk - rock and roll, some big band era swing,
a hint of psychadelics,
with alot of structure in my songs.

lead guitarist/songwriter here -
looking for a singer with a blues rasp like that of
James Dewar, Greg Allman, Ray Charles, Joe Cocker,
Paul Rodgers etc.

and if you can sing like Steve Marriott,
drop whatever you are doing, and contact me now.
or maybe... sound like no one else before.

a Female singer would work with this project also.

been busy as usual working and family stuff,
but hope to be back in action soon.
yeah we are getting older, but have no fear!

Influences

all of the usual criminals -

the ones who say:

right next to the Lantern,
in the Moon lit sky at evening time,

inside a Den Of Thieves await,
beyond the parameters,
living a lie,
in our quiet charade

your bank might be closed,
but use the secret password,

i came up with these above, for comedic value.
but now i have a few questions -

how come their smooth car at night that was so free,
crashed upon a brick wall so many times ???

and how come these musicians that are supposed to be free,
persecute all supporters, through two dimensional words, phrases & stories ?

'Captain's Mast' (July 2012)

a broken wheel steering aimlessly through the night,
a broken chain, the anchor even floats away,
upon your shores there is sand in your eyes,
all others begin to awake, pointing at the flood.

'Wish them well!'
said the extremely large boat passing by,
as the thieves all jumped from the deck.
stuck in her side, a small note was found.

but there was no need to read,
as your own waves begin to crash and scream,
they tell us of your stolen treasure,
the direction on your compass forever lost.

the Captain's Mast destroyed,
'this vessel will not last tonight !' scoffed the Quartermaster.
for this particular voyage, the lies in her cabin could not save them,
while the lamp from the distant lighthouse, shines brighter than ever.

even the travel agents are talking,
they wouldn't visit your shores if you paid them (and you tried),
like a few sharks on the land,
your ocean of tales could not persuade them.

the world sets sail for yesterday,
as the island of truth awaits,
we float on a life raft back to the beginning,
while pirates of the night, drown in their own triangle.

'Error 404' (August 2012)

Wolves track their own hunter in the night,
but her microchip has no sensor.
they bait this trap with another cookie,
because one more starving temp file, has long been corrupt.

Cloud Storage up in the sky,
as the mirror points to the dark eyes gazing inside.
pressing the keys to the future,
the fragmented dust in the mind, is 'towering over her head.'

she's been thrown into the recycle bin,
as files of yellow and green await the return.
a quick register, a wave to that blind girl up ahead,
and her world downloads into nowhere.

the new fiber optic brain is ready,
tomorrow is only megabytes away.
driving in a taxi on a bitmap to the shore -
and her entire history now deleted.

they said she bought heaven - but it was on a flash drive,
and a virus has stolen her freedom.
the Hotel California screensaver crashes -
with the Beast locked inside.
and Sgt. Pepper sent out a mass email,
blaming all, but himself... once again.
By morning, he was typing in all caps,
to anyone who would listen,
as everyone else noticed Lucy's Diamonds -
were cheap cut & paste art on a badly mowed field, painted red.

she still surf's the night for a Marmalade Sky,
but troubleshooters return, a tangerine tree full of cowards.
her disc cannot hold a marshmallow pie full of worms,
when the broken rocking horse, gives a free ride for your soul.

and Sgt. Pepper has salt in his wound, (we hope he has enjoyed the show),
but Ancient Pyramids, have seen this one before.
as his search engine pulls into an empty train station,
the link found at the turnstile, has now become an Error 404.
