ABOUT

I am currently a "hobbyist" drummer. I currently play casually with a classic rock band that does some open mics but am interested in breaking into some country. I like modern country as well as more "classic sounding" new country like Sturgill Simpson, Chris Stapleton and Ryan Bingham. I just like laying down a solid groove to pretty much anything. While I don't classify it as country, I'm also a Jason Isbell fan

I am also interested in jazz drumming and have been practicing/studying jazz much over the past two years.

I have a 50+ hour a week job and a family with two small children so I am doing this for fun now but would not be opposed to some light gigging if the conditions were right. If you are looking for someone who can practice or gig 4 nights a week I'm probably not your guy but would be interested in a more casual or "sit in/sub" type of situation.
