"At times their sound suggests a return to the values of '90s alternative rock -- the point in "Can't Fix Fate," ... where they leave the brooding atmosphere of the opening verse behind for an anthemic chorus driven by distorted crashing guitars. But in their more intricate moments, you'll also find echoes of math rock and classic progressive rock, although the vocals still suggest sensibilities shaped at a Lollapalooza concert in the '90s (in a good way). "
