Hello everybody!

We are WHOA!TIGER, an original music band based in Indianapolis. We are a group of late-30's/early-40's musicians, friends and family guys who enjoy writing music and have fun playing shows.

We generally rehearse once each week, and gig about once each month - usually at Locals Only in Indy, but we're trying to trade for gigs in Louisville, Cincy and Chicago this year (2009) as well.

We released our first album in March 2009, titled "Truth Serum and Forgetfulness". It contains a nice variety of tunes that we had a blast working up - mostly rock/pop-flavored stuff. Our good friend and lead guitar player, Dan, will be leaving us in the Fall of 09 because of a family move. We're trying to get ahead of this by starting the search for a new member now, with Dan's blessing. If we find somebody early enough, we might even exist as a five-piece for a short time this summer before Dan has to leave.

We're looking for a lead guitar player who can also sing high harmony backing vocals. Ability and willingness to bring new songs to the band is also a big plus, and if you have some recordings of songs you've written, we'd like to hear them. Our arranging process tends to be very collaborative and on-the-fly in rehearsals, so an ability to generate ideas in that environment will be helpful.

We're all pretty laid back guys, and we do this because it puts smiles on our faces, not because we are looking for extra money to help pay the bills. Our new guitar player should share this attitude.
