ABOUT

I have performed before live audiences, throughout my life growing up. I started getting solos in middle school, where I participated in making a recording for Disney where I performed a solo with my choir class. As I entered high school the teacher used me to sing The National Anthem, as well as a few solos from Les Miserables and a song from the movie Anastasia Once Upon A December.
After I moved to Kingman Arizona, on four occasions I got to be a guest singer with Little Town Band (Littletownlittletownband) with Charlie Covault. I got to perform at the Flying X Saloon twice in Lake Havasu, at the Tackshed in Kingman Az, and at another place in Bullhead I can't remember the name of.
And to stay in practice I sing almost every Thursday at the Time Out Tavern at karaoke and sometimes at the Fireside on the weekend.
Even if I get a little nervous I enjoy performing music for the public.
In college I was involved with 2 vocal coaches to
practice singing exercises and study to develop voice skills and to enhance techniques.
I exercise regularly so I don't tire quickly and I'm always trying to modify or critique and improve my artistic skills.
I have sang a cappella and with piano accompaniment.
From years of being involved with choirs in school and with the Senior Choir (not the contemporary choir) with my church, I've observed choral leaders and prompters for cues and directions in my vocal presentation.
Aside from helping friends using my voice as a "hook" in the background of their personal mixes through Disney and a performance of Les Miserables was my only professional participation in making recordings. Aside from me recording myself.
I've been asked to learn new music suitable for live performances or recording. I'm willing to learn if you're willing to work with me. But I prefer to sing country, and a little R&B, but Mostly...Country.

Influences

The radio and every country, blues, rock, oldies, and R&B and pop singers that have crossed my ears and molded my voice into what it is today. My mom said that at the age of three I used to dance around and sing every word of Tina Turners "What's Love Got To Do With It?" I used to sing a lot of Bette Midler, Anne Murray, Mariah Carey, Janet Jackson, Shaniah Twain, Bonnie Raitt, to Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, and especially Leann Rimes.
