Will Play For Food! We have a group of guys that play for fun, and are looking to add a "good" guitar player to fill in the sound. I am also looking for somthing for me that would halp make the bills. So...up front...I have more than one band I work with...but am looking for something regular, as that would become my priority. If I could have my dream gig...it would be to play for a Robert Earl Keen/Jerry Jeff Walker cover band. I know...but I love fun "best western" music. So, about me...I have been playing guitar for over 20 years. I started when I was 10. I was first signed in 1993 and again in 1999. I have toured the southern US five times, and played in most of the major cities in the US at least once. In college I studied under Bob Sharrard, who was one of Andre Segovia's students for classical guitar. I focus on song writing, lead, acoustic, and background vocals, but am very flexible with other instruments. I play bass proficiently, slide, harmonica, and most of the brass instruments. I will dabble with the piano when the need arises. ivanpierce@
