50 plus years in music, mostly percussion. Blues jaz rock and roll. Ten Years in compas and voodou. Played with african dance troupe. Was generally considered the leading talking drummer between here and NY. Worked twelve years in Tribal government which took all my time. now back at playing. Looking to form a band that would take advantage of the local cultural diversity to develop our own music. Vodou, compas, latin, etc.

Influences
West African, Assane Thiam, Timmy Olataine, Massamba Diop, and various western influences, like Roy Haynes, Elvin Jones,Mitch Mitchell, Keith Moon. In a broad sense Ustad Allah Rakah and his son Zakir Hussaine. And 1930's music and dance, such as Louis Armstrong, Benny Goodman, and actually, all the dancing of people like Fred Astaire, and Eleanor Powell. I've played blues jazz rock country and punk jazz. haitian and west african. As Champion Jack Dupree said, in 60 years you can do a lot of damage.
