If interested, please fill out the form below and email it to us. All of our information can be found in our newest blog post on myspace.
The song posted on this site is one of our harder songs, so if you can handle this you can handle just about anything we play. Additional material can be found on our myspace page as well as www.purevolume.com/withfaithorflames. Songs from the new album should take priority over songs from the old, however we will expect you to eventually be familiar with all of our material. Unfortunately we are unable to make tabs for our songs at present, so applicants who can learn by ear have an advantage.
It is important to note that all of our songs are tuned in DROP D.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Age members of the band are 22-25. The closer you are to that range, the better. Please, no one under 18. We can be wild and reckless at times, and we don't want to have to be responsible for any minors.
- As of now, band members work towards the growth of the band, meaning all money made through the band goes back into it, and none goes into our pockets. That being said, anyone wishing to be in WFOF must be able to self-sustain. This is especially important if you are not local to Chattanooga.
- Must have reliable transportation!!!! The band WILL NOT be able to pay for bus tickets, gas, etc, so once again, a local applicant has the advantage over someone from out of town.
- Must have a free and open schedule. We are a full time band, and thus will not work around jobs or school schedules. The jobs we have are only to support ourselves when not touring, and will always take 2nd priority to anything the band has going on. If you cannot leave your job or put school on hold, we cannot use you, as we plan on touring extensively.
- If not local, you must be willing and able to stay in Chattanooga for extended periods of time to practice, write material, etc. None of us are in a position to house anyone, so you must be able to find your own accomodations. But we've learned from experience that coming into town just for shows doesn't cut it. You would essentially have to relocate here for a majority of the time.
- MUST HAVE PROFESSIONAL TOUR-READY GEAR (or at least be able to purchase it before our next show). Eric, our departing bass player, will be selling all of his bass gear after the tour, so if interested, hit him up. His personal myspace is linked from ours.
- Must be capable of playing our newer material. We do not aim to be the most "progressive" band out there, but we do ask that anyone wishing to join our band be able to keep up with us. We will not slow down the momentum of the band to accommodate one member.
