NEEDING BASS PLAYER AND CONSIDERING KEYBOARD PLAYER (if he can do harmony vocals well).
I've played in a Springfield, Mo cover band for years and I'm looking for some other guys (preferably mid to late twenties or thirties) who want to do this same type of music and actually make money doing it. I've got the smokinest guitar player around and a great drummer, both ready to go. I do lead vocals, but one of the 2 spots we're looking to fill has to be a guy that can sing harmony vocals well. My extra monthly income from music is always around $800 (on average), playing mostly in Springfield and this is why we're willing to play cover tunes. This band won't be quite as busy, as we're mainly wanting to play some Thursday nights at Cartoons and weekend nights my current band is not. We're wanting to play a bit more 'young crowd' oriented covers than we do now. My current band is a lot of older music that caters to the 40+ crowd. I know all the club owners. Getting gigs will not take any effort. I've got a full PA as well.. subs, mains, 3 power amps, EQ, etc., and a place to practice.
Believe me when I tell you.. If you live in Springfield and want to start playing out, this is your best option on here to start playing music out right away, earning money doing it and having a whole lot of fun! We're dedicated but having fun is definitely equally as important. We want musicians that know how to enjoy themselves on stage and entertain the audience... joking with them and just making sure they're having a good time.

Everyone. Much too many to list. I love the 80s hair bands.. and I love the newer rock, like Nickelback, as well as the good country.. Keith Urban and such.
