I have been playing guitar for quite a while. I`ve played most every type music that is known to man. I specialize in funk and blues. Although these are my favorites, I have no problem playing and singing any other music. I do not care for heavy metal, or death metal or punk. I have many years experience in gigging. I`ve been singing for about 6-8 years. I have no stage fright nor fear of the game. I have a long list of songs that I`ve played. The list includes everything from Hank Williams Sr. to Metallica. I love music. I also have recording experience, along with the ability to create an awsome clear defining sound with a sound system. I have always been the guy that learned the tools, wired the board up and set the sound along with being a front man. I`m not bragging because I`m not perfect nor do I think that I am the Best guitarist or even close to the best but I can hold my own. I also play drums and bass. I know chords and progressions, the number system and I can read a little music. I have a few guitars. A Strat, of course, and an Epi casino. I have a fender Twin but its being repaired and I`m about to have a CyberTwin. I have 3 mics and PLENTY of cords both speaker and mic.

So that there are no surprises, I like the music "Right". I believe in practice and that everyone should learn their parts. I don`t mind helping the band along but I`m not interested in having to pull every song through. I like it tight and enveloping. I don`t leave out chords unless the song has been modified for the purpose of creating a unique flavor. I also have no problem playing most anything that another member sings so long as it fits the bands style. I would also be more interested if the other members sang some songs and any harmony that is needed. There are many dime a dozen bands out there with a single singer and there is just no way to create a good band with one singer. I hope that I am not coming across too harshly but it is best if you know exactly what I am looking for up front. I am easy to get along with. The thing is, I have been in many bands and I have made up my mind that the next band that I start or join is going to be the best. I work hard at my music and I know that it takes a tireless effort to make it happen. Back beat rythms and shuffles along with off-beats such as the beat in the song called "Whipping Post" by the Allman Brothers on the drums are very important to me. A bass player that knows that he is a bass player and not a guitar player is also very important to me. Like I have stated. I mean no offense nor am I dictating. I am trying to be as clear as possible so that you have a clear understanding. I am very willing to work as hard as anyone at music so I am trying to be transparent and I hope that you take it that way. Thanks for your time.
