I haven't been actively playing for quite a while, but I've spent a lot of garage/basement time over the years in bands working on originals, and I also had a blast in the mid-80ties covering U2, Robert Hazard, Bon Jovi, The Outfield, Ozzy, Dokken, Kiss, The Hooters, Judas Priest, Billy Idol, Motley Crue, Phil Collins, Van Halen, Bryan Adams, etc. etc...
I also had a short-lived modern country band back around '01-'02 that I really enjoyed.
The videos are of me playing along to some old rock/metal cover songs, recorded summer 2014. Both my playing style and my current, out-of-practice ability on the bass, are honestly represented here by everything found within these five videos...warts and all.
At age 47, I also wouldn't mind branching out into other rock-related genres...not necessarily slow or mellow all the time, but maybe with a different outlook than what I was experiencing as a much younger person.
Maybe my videos show I have enough transferable skills which, with diligence, could be applied to music of different intents, whether it's cover or original.
