Band to Join.

ABOUT

Looking for a band of any genre, but I love progressive rock. But anything is fine, really. I love, and can play, metal, jazz, classical, alternative, rock, blues, country, etc. Other bandless(?) musicians can contact me as well if looking to start a band with some similar influences.

I'm a 19 year old college student, and I would prefer to play with people around my age, but I have no set age limit in mind. I haven't been playing long, but I learn very quickly, and I'm capable of playing in many styles and techniques covering all genres. I've finally earned enough to buy a nice guitar and amp, so now I need a band. I know my scales, basic theory, standards, classic riffs ands solos etc. and I can solo any key, fingerpick very adequately, fingertap, sweep, rip some blues, keep rhythm, strum and solo simultaneously, and learn anything I need to know.

I'm no master, but I'm well-rounded, adaptive, and creative, which isn't always a great thing, but at least songwriting is a strength.

Influences

All kinds of music- Classical, folk, blues, rock, jazz, etc. Main influences though are anything centered around progressive, trippy, atmospheric, spacey, symphonic, euphoric, intricate, or complex instrumentals. Or anything else that requires at least an ounce of talent. Pink Floyd, Yes, Dave Matthews Band are probably my favorites.
