I have had a passion for singing all my life. I was in chorus, vocal ensemble, musical theater, and drama throughout high school, so I have plenty of experience performing for a large audience. I would really like to meet some talented and dedicated musicians to work with and hopefully create something beyond our wildest dreams. I would love to be able to make a career out of singing someday.
Amy Lee, Sarah McLachlan, Paramore, Flyleaf, Michelle Branch, Sheryl Crow, Jewel, 4 Non Blondes, Metric, Avenged Sevenfold, Breaking Benjamin, Nora Jones, Cage the Elephant, Otep, Manchester Orchestra, Anberlin, Sublime, The Bravery, Pearl Jam, Counting Crows, Silversun Pickups, Van Canto, Eric Clapton, Korn, Alanis Morisette, Matchbox Twenty, Goo Goo Dolls, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Staind, Linkin Park, The Killers, Sick Puppies, Soundgarden, Avril Lavigne (<--the Let Go and Under My Skin albums), and believe it or not I could go on and on!
...And in case you are wondering, yes, they are all influential to me. Every single song from every single artist has a specific meaning or purpose. It's up to us as the audience to figure out what that meaning or purpose is.
Well, I'm thinking about picking up the violin again. I played 2nd chair 2nd violin in middle school for 2 or 3 years. I haven't played in a very long time though. It would probably take me at least 6 months to a year to get good again. Other than that, it's just me and my voice.
