Experienced, veteran bass player, love to play blues & R&B and play it well, classic rock is OK and a touch of jazz is pretty cool too. Played in dozens of local bands over a 25 year period and have the itch to get back into it. Some of my experiences include numerous college frat's and high school gigs in the early days. We were regulars at Baby Huey's, Rush Up, Sir Drinks Alot, and did a number of local band shows at the Arragon Ballroom. Opened for Sly Stone at the Chicago Amphiteather and filled in for Linda Ronstadt's bass player for 3 nights when she was playing New Trier back in '71 (before she hit it big). Also occasionally played with Baby Huey and the Babysitters, and jammed with Jeff Beck and John McLaughlin. I also did some occasional studio work and am an accomplished sound mixer having done sound work for Sha-Na-Na, The Birds, Pacific Gas & Light, Stix, REO Speedwagon, Rita Cooledge,Segal Schwall and John McLaughlin & The Mahavisnu Orchestra.
