I just moved to Seattle pretty recently and I'm wanting to get back into music again - not as a full-time gig, but I'd eventually love to find that close group of friends to grow and be a part of something awesome with. Have fun playing music that we love, eventually record music and maybe play all around the Pacific Northwest... but if that doesn't happen, I'd at least like to get together and just play some good music - playing covers or creating something original for fun. I'm up for pretty much anything: symphonic, death, metal, punk, rockabilly, Celtic, dark wave, industrial, etc. I've had some luck with this website in the past, so I hope Lady Luck will strike again!
As far as my style goes, I've been playing music for 8 years now, all self-taught. I used to do hi/lo growls and cleans simultaneously, but I got too old, so now I just do my regular clean vocals. In past music projects, If any band is willing to take me in, I am completely a-ok with being a back-up vocalist/guitarist/keyboardist or if you'd like me to shut up, I won't take offense. :P I'm used to playing/singing everything from three-piece thrash/punk bands to progressive/symphonic sextet (yes, I can do opera!) - then I've done my own thing which basically consisted of me practicing and never having the time to create a music be account.... I'll get around to it, eventually. :P My guitar style is melodic-death inspired, since I am very much into the Gothenburg sound. I'm most comfortable keeping up the rhythm of a song, not exactly the type to bust out the face-melting solos. I can also sing and play at the same time.
Let's see... other than that, I'm drug-free and I don't really drink unless it's a special occasion. Anyway, let me know if you'd like to get together and make some godly music \m/
