ABOUT

My name is Zakk DuBois from Freehold, NJ and I'm 24. I've been bashing the drums for 11 years now and have had numerous amounts of experience on and off the stage! Currently, I am in search of the already established and touring band of my dreams that are ready to do this for the long haul and don't see their lives without music being apart of it, as well as a band that is truly like a family together! I am a networking fool as well and have no fear to go out and be in the public eye and willing to do whatever it takes to get the band and name out there! As a drummer, My influences derive from many of the bands listed below but The Rev, Mike Portnoy, Chris Adler, Moose from BFMV, Chad Smith from RHCP, Neil Peart, Keith Moon, Nicko McBrain and many more have been such a huge roll in forming/molding the drummer I am today! Besides drums, i have written my own tunes and don't ever plan on stopping because I've got so much material in my head all the time and I'm looking for the right band to let it out with! On stage, I have many shows under my belt and have performed on guitar and singing as well so I know for a fact that my life and my furture belong performing on stages for the rest of my life! No wife, no kids, no habits, just ready to make this my life and kill it with my band-mates and show the world that there is hope for real music and bands again that are truly turning heads from us creating the most amazing and epic music straight from the hearts!!! My equipment and I are maintained at all times! I have tour experience with a few bands; one being a Memphis, TN based Hard Rock band named "Artifas" and another Nashville, TN based Industrial Metal band named "Carotid"! I also have countless studio hours under my belt, and also have an album out with a Heavy Metal band named "Cut Slingload" entitled "Our Revolution. Currently as well, I work in Englishtown, NJ at Decibels Music Studio so a practice space is absolutely no issue at all!!! I'M NOT MESSING AROUND, I WANT THIS AND I WANT PEOPLE WHO HAVE THE SAME ATTITUDE/DRIVE AND ARE WILLING TO MAKE THE RISKS AND SACRIFICES THAT HAVE TO BE TAKEN TO HAVE A CAREER AS A NATIONAL ACT BE A REALITY!
