The Loungeman is the latest offshoot of two talented, very different, prolific songwriters who have been playing together for years. We're looking for some adventuresome, talented, creative folks to gig regularly, record, and make millions of dollars together with, of course...

Influences:

Well, everyone likes the Beatles, right? Television, Kinks, Love, Tubes, Buffalo Springfield, Bowie, Bolan, Velvets, etc. Pretty much anything you like that's in your dad's, punk-rock sister's, or token weird guy you still like to hang out with every once in awhile until you remember why everyone thought he was a lunatic after high school's record collection. Nate likes Guided by Voices an awful lot, while Rich is not so sure... We're both fond of Syd Barrett, which should be noted, to avoid future complications that often ensue...

Equipment List:

Rich's bass often has four strings on it. It seems to work better that way. Nate's keyboards are fully functional, except in a power outage. He is most fond of his Fender Rhodes, despite it's exceptional weight...

Members Of Band:

Nate plays many instruments rather poorly, but he has been asked back to perform on keyboards and trumpet on an occasion or two. Rich only plays bass and guitar. He's awfully Rich at both, which is a VERY good thing. They've both been in many more good bands than bad, which speaks volumes about something, to be sure...
