ABOUT

Lead, rhythm, and/or bass guitarist available. I can offer over 30 years of playing experience, a professional attitude, an open mind, broad tastes, reliable equipment, enthusiasm, and a good sense of humor.

I have decades of experience gigging and recording in all kinds of genres and bands in the Greater Boston area, and am looking for something fun and creative with momentum and as little drama and BS as possible in the Capital District. I'd like to join a group that is committed to practicing, performing, and attaining a modicum of success, at least locally.

For what it's worth, I am a rippin' lead player, AND a supportive rhythm guitar and bass player who understands the roles each of these play in a group, and I pride myself on being able to listen and work with other musicians to create something great. I understand the concepts of having the appropriate parts, sounds, volume levels, and attitudes for a variety of musical scenarios.

I'm ideally looking to join up up with a band that ALREADY HAS MATERIAL AND GIGS LINED UP, whether it's an original band or a (working) cover band. At the moment I'm really interested in joining a group that already has their act together and has some momentum behind them, and just needs a versatile guitar player to round out the band. I'm also open to jamming and meeting new musicians in the area as well, the only thing I'd ask is that there be some kind of structure to it.
