ABOUT
I'm mostly looking for studio work. I don't have time to join a band, but I could fill in as a sub here and there. I grew up listening to heavy metal and
classic rock, but fell hard for the blues when I got out of college. I played in an Allman Brothers-style blues/jam band for many years, in addition to previous bands that ran from heavy metal to funk to folk. I love classic rock because it blends so many styles, yet always has a foot in the blues. I played bass with several folk rock groups in Chicago as well as on my own stuff. I've played guitar, bass and resonator on a number of studio project, and have my own home studio for recording my music. My writing is heavily influenced by Lucinda Williams - she's the one that opened my eyes to the power of words. For more information, see my bio at .zeyerband/vince
