Instrumental rock power trio called ZINNGESCHREI is looking for an experienced drummer to help us put a fresh spin on the format. The band's highly atmospheric, driving sound, encompasses the work of bands like PORCUPINE TREE, 90s-era RUSH, U2, RUSSIAN CIRCLES, BLACK SABBATH, quiet OPETH, TOOL, and Belew-era KING CRIMSON.
We seek a player with compatible dynamics and taste, great groove, time, feel. A person that knows when not to play, and who listens to and plays off -- and with -- the other musicians. A person we can depend on that has their life together (i.e. steady income/good job; solid place to live; good transportation; supportive significant other). We are in our late 30s. Rehearsal location will be in and around Burbank.
