ABOUT

firat let me say that i'm not a lead player. i can noodle around a bit, but i'm not a lead guitarist.
tell you what i would feel most comfortable doing. sitting with 2 or 3 folks, acoustically, harmonizing and doing some picking. electric can be incorporated. if something develops, then great!
I'm retired now and have time to devote to starting or joining something.
I've rediscovered my love of the acoustic guitar. seems I play and write and sing more when playing my Martin. so, at this point, i'd like to hook up with folks of my era (i'm 69) and get some great oldies going. old folk, rock, Motown. could be fun. we could rock out a but too. I miss harmonies and the camaraderie of playing and singing with musicians that you get to know and enjoy. i've been playing on and off, professionally and not, for over 45 years. played bass and sang lead/backup/harmonies in bands. and acoustic for my own pleasure.
i'd like to meet up with some folks and get a better sense of what's going on. I would be interested in doing a duo or trio, acoustic and electric. lots of harmony. you always learn, no matter who you play with and no matter the level of skill. i'm open. when i pick up my acoustic, i tend to lean more towards ballads. Eagles stuff. and I also have a place to practice. 6618056291
