I am currently seeking an artful original or cover band. Money is great, but that's not my primary motivation.
I have very diverse and eclectic tastes. I love smart songs about stuff that matters regardless of genre. Other stuff I'd be interesting in playing includes (but is not limited to) old school R&B/Soul, 60s'-70s Psychedelic, Surf, Folk, Funk, Americana, and artful Classic Rock covers. Also, I'm looking for something more intentional and structured than jams and open mics.

EQUIPMENT
Bottom line, I have top-notch gear and I know how to control my volume so that I always sit well in the mix.
For electric guitar, I play Strats into vintage style tube amps. For effects, I stick to overdrive, fuzz, delay and reverb. I also own an electric 12, and an acoustic guitar with a K&K pickup system and preamp.
For bass, I play a MusicMan Stingray 4-string into an Aguilar head and Ampeg cabs.
