226 Recordings is a full service recording, mixing and mastering studio located in the heart of the historic Heights of Houston, Texas. We specialize in recording, mixing, mastering, voice over/ADR, and post production. Our goal is to make every client's recording studio experience with us a positive one.
Owner and chief engineer Paul Cox prides himself on combining top of the line equipment with a solid recording studio experience. In Paul's 13 years in the business, he has accumulated an impressive client list which includes Macy Gray, Ernie Watts, Stanley Clarke, Denis Chambers, Nick Smith, Pearl, Woodlands Church, and many more.
Paul's versatile and comprehensive resume makes him comfortable working in any genre of music. In addition to running his own Houston recording studio, Paul is also a certified Digidesign instructor.
