ABOUT

I am actively looking for a new music/band project. I am interested in doing a mix of covers and originals thrown in and doing moderate gigging. They style of music I like playing is funk or a fusion of funk and rock. I am looking at 1-2 practices a week with maybe a couple a gigs a month. First and foremost I am trying to find a really great bassist to build a rhythm core with and add on from there with great guitars and possibly a horn section and keyboards.

Influences

My influences are kinda all over the map and include, The Meeters, Ohio Players, Tower of Power, Tool, Volto, Porcupine Tree, etc. Drummers that have influenced me heavily over the years are Danny Carey, Phil Collins, Dave Abruzzese, Carter Beauford, etc.

EQUIPMENT

I play a DW Olive Ash over Cherry Wood 7 piece with a 14x7 1940 Slingerland Radio King Snare for recording. My cymbals are all Zildjian A Brilliants (except for the hats & china) they include the following: 14" Fast Crash, 16" Crash, 18" Fast Crash, 20" Ping Ride, 16" Trash China, and 6, 8, & 10 inch splash. I also have my own mic's for each shell and overhead condensers.
