Looking for a collaborative multi-instrumentalist/Co-Writer with similar tastes.
I have been playing music since I was 11 or so. I have rotated between the various positions in different local bands in my younger days. I am fairly good at drums, I slap-ah-dah-bass from time to time, I have been learning to play piano, but my main squeeze is the guitar. I have a bunch of back material that I never found any enthusiastic collaborators on and I slowly burnt myself out on it as my tastes have changed. It's melodic metal stuff, mostly influenced by the wave of metalcore from the mid to late 2000's. Now I am into contemporary and classic Prog Rock/Metal. Basically, I've slowed down a bit and have been trying to hone nuance instead of squeezing as many notes into every second of a song. I have a bunch of equipment though I have shed most of my "live" gear in favor of writing and studio equipment. I am well versed in Reaper and Studio One. I have also been writing more using GuitarPro7 and would prefer to collaboratively write that way. I really just want to be excited about writing something that excites whomever it is that I am writing with as much as it does myself. I am more concerned about writing meaningful music than getting out there and playing for attentions sake. If you are interested in bouncing ideas off one another and not to far from MS, hit me up. My fretting hand pinky finger was rendered useless in a tragic accent, basically leaving me a 3 fingered fretter whilst my pinky hangs there like a dunce but I can still "meddly" well enough though I am more of a rhythm player. Prefer Dropped tunings. D C# C. 6 Strings. email. jeffgdesign (at) y o o h o o. You know, the search engine.
