Originally from New York City, John has performed all over California and Nevada. John honed his performance and gigging skills while performing weekly at blues, funk and rock jam sessions, at the Red House Studios in Walnut Creek, CA with members of local Bay Area bands. John has also performed with many local Bay Area musicians and recording artists.
John’s most recent projects include progressive rock with Voices & Echoes, hard rock with The Capp Street Girls from San Francisco and alternative/ska with Three Of… from Walnut Creek, CA. Additionally, John toured throughout California and Nevada with the South Lake Tahoe, CA based country western & rockabilly blues band, Little Sister.
John has appeared on Rhino Room TV in Pomona, CA; The Screw Pop Culture Radio Show in Hollywood, CA; Mevio TV in San Francisco, CA and on the Kelly in The Morning Show on KVYN Radio in Napa, CA. He appeared in the feature length film Running Wild in October 2015 where he was an extra. He is a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP).

John's drumming influence is primarily the hard rock drummers from the 60's through today like Carmine Appice, Ian Paice, the incomparable John Bonham, Phil Rudd, Brad Wilk and Steven Adler. He has also studied the styles of the jazz and big band drummers from the 1940's and 50's, such as Buddy Rich, Bernard Purdie, Art Blakey and Ed Shaughnessy. John has experience playing punk, rock, alternative rock, post punk, country, blues, funk and R&B.
