I am an experienced drummer who began playing in performing bands in the early 70's. I played in several rock bands in the 70's and 80's, played in the Michigan State University Jazz Band for 4 years and have also played in the Dearborn (MI) Symphony.
I'm currently involved with a new jazz quartet playing a great playlist of classic music including songs by Brubeck, Miles Davis, Charlie Parker, Monk, Coltrane, Corea and more.
I'm always interested in meeting new musicians, jamming with good players or filling in as a substitute drummer if the gig is appropriate.

I enjoy classic rock, jazz, blues, R&B, funk, fusion, - pretty much anything with an interesting groove. I have a wide range of influences - everything from Steely Dan, Deep Purple & Jethro Tull to John Coltrane, Miles Davis & Dave Brubeck
- Other Percussion:
I collect and restore vintage drums, so I usually have 15 or more complete kits - most of which date from the 60's and early 70's. I have small 4 piece Jazz kits as well as big 6+ piece Rock & Roll kits and everything in between. A large collection of cymbals and traps as well.
I also have a very nice practice studio in my home with full PA system and ability to capture, mix and produce multi-track recordings.
