The Legends of Soul are a spin-off of the very popular soul and, Motown and R&B group, "Statesboro Blues". The band was formed by the founder of Statesboro Blues, and consists of the core rhythm and vocal section of that band. And is adding a new horn section and bacground vocalists. Legends of Soul concentrates on the classic soul, Motown, R&B and Beach music of the 1960's and 70's, playing venues from Jacksonville to Atlanta, with a concentration on the Jekyll Island/Brunswick, Savannah and Statesboro areas.
