A Single Duel Bio
"A Single Duel" is the years-long brain child of multi-talented musicians Stephen Nicholls (Lead/Rhythm Guitars, Bass) and Joseph Anderson (Drums/Perc, Guitars, Keyboards). Steve and Joe have been making music together since 2005, from open mic nights in local clubs to small socially distanced Zoom calls in bedrooms and basements. In fact, they were doing remote projects way before it was cool (or required) With the help of their production company, Black Static and Swerve (bss.studio), A Single Duel marked their debut with "Instrumanimals" on December 31, 2020; an album entirely produced with Steve and Joe working remotely.
They continue to forge ahead, collaborating with new artists, while maintaining a socially distanced space of at least 6 feet.
