I love to play and I'm looking for a challenge and fun with people who love music and are competent. I've not spent much time in bands but I play every day and I'm interested in investigating the possibilities.
I'm told I can sing - and there are times I really know I can.
I have a decent ear, an ego that gets told to STFU (by me) before it can cause problems, a nominal knowledge of music theory, I can tune my instrument to pitch or to those around me - I listen.
I don't need or care to get F*cked up to play.

Everything I hear influences me - I have been listening to a lot of Ryan Adams, Andrew Bird, Wilco, Weepies, BNL, Dave Matthews, Black Keys, Devotchka, Medesky, Martin, & Wood, Gogol Bordello, 17 Hippies, Oi Va Voi, Michael Franti, Loudon Wainwright III, Martha Wainwright, Patty Griffin, Sage Francis, Laura Marling - a lot of stuff :)
EQUIPMENT
Not much - a custom '58 Gibson, a late 70s Ibanez Concord acoustic, a Fender Cybertwin (130 v1.0) amp, a couple of mics, and more wires than I care to think about.
