Although I really enjoy playing funky and rockin' stuff with a band, my main focus at the moment is getting ready to launch a solo acoustic cover project this year. Eventually, I’d like to see that grow into a duo, trio, or more.

The samples I’ve posted cover a wide range of styles, from slow, acoustic Americana-type songs to more upbeat, full-band tunes with horn arrangements. Most are instrumental but there are a couple of vocal tracks.

"Horn tune 1" & "Horn tune 2" are all-original tracks I recently put together. They started as just midi sketches to get some ideas down but I ended up fleshing them out a bit more than I intended so I figured I'd throw them up here. Someday I'd love to put together a a funky, soul-jazz group and hear them expanded and brought to life with real instruments!

Satisfied & City Boy are both covers I recorded. All guitars are played on my Martin and I programmed drums and bass in Logic Pro. These are really down-tempo tunes but I also sing more upbeat stuff, too.

Feelin' Alright is a downloaded bass/drums backing track of the classic Traffic tune with me on rhythm and lead guitars.

It's Alright is a low quality recording of an original, quasi-classical-ish solo guitar piece.

Thanks for listening!

I live in Louisville, CO.
