I'm a singer/songwriter based out of Ellicott City/Columbia, Maryland, and looking for some like-minded people that are serious about music to network and work with. I have a lot of genre influences and can occasionally hop from time to time. My lyrics come out of my own experiences, things I witness in the world at large, and experiences of people close to me. My themes cover found and lost love (cliche? a bit. relevant? Definitely), the confidence and uncertainty of youth, my own personal experiences, and a sprinkling of social commentary. I like to think of my lyrics as mature but not too esoteric.

"One Day" (on this page) is a song about the everyday struggle in our lives between hope and hopelessness.

"Homecoming Queen" is actually inspired an article I read about a high school suicide that shocked the town because the girl who killed herself was a well-liked, popular student with good grades from a well-off family. The girl in my song doesn't kill herself, but it got me thinking about how the people we think have everything sometimes have less than nothing.

I'm looking for musicians that are serious about their music but also want to have fun. Songwriting chops are a plus, too; I'd like to have a band of players that have the know-how and creativity to bounce ideas off each other.
