Heres the deal; fu*k the trends. I have no interest in djent or playing 8 and 9 string guitar. I do not follow whats "popular" in music Or whats 'popular' in metal today. I play the music I like. I have alotta influences and love many different kinds of music (including country/southern rock), but my biggest influences are thrash metal and groove metal/southern style metal bands and I like alot of progressive style music too (Mastodon, late-era Death). Any kind of music that makes ya feel somethin. Dont like using labels on the music I listen to or play, as I listen to everything and incorprate it into my own playing, regardless of genre. As long as it rips and kicks some serious ass, then its good to me! Good rhythm guitarist and a decent lead guitarist but am by no means a shredder. Have done a couple instrumental demos myself and they are posted on my profile.
