Influences
I started out playing classic rock/metal; AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, some Metallica, etc. Then around my freshman year in high school I was attracted to punk rock and the blues. I hit punk music hard, learning a lot of songs, mostly by Green Day(my favorite band). I play music by bands like the Foo Fighters, Ramones. I also mess around with the blues, mainly Stevie Ray Vaughan. I was in a few bands in high school. We played a mix of modern rock/metal and played songs by bands like Breaking Benjamin and Chevelle along with several originals. I've written several songs, most of which have a punk feel. Others have the modern rock sound, I guess. I don't really know what to call it, I just wrote them. While I prefer punk over everything else, I'll try just about anything.
