Drummer, guitarist and huge fan of original music. I am looking to play with like-minded folks with similar interests or join an existing project as a guitarist or drummer with backing vocals. I am a drama-free, drug free, outgoing person who is easy to get along with and fun to hang out with in a musical or non-musical setting. I have great gear, a positive attitude, and reliable transportation. I show up to gigs and practice on time, and I am willing to share reasonable costs of the creative process (rehearsal space, recording, etc). Here is a sample of my previous work:

I played drums on all these tracks, helped arrange the music, and even played rhythm guitar on these tracks live upon occasion. This band played all over the Phoenix-Metro area, in Flagstaff, and at the McDowell Mountain Music Festival in March 2014.
I am looking for something in the Rock/Blues/Alt-Rock/Alt-Country/Jam genres. On drums, I am a groove player who knows how to highlight the dynamics of the songs but doesn't get in the way of the music. On guitar, I take the same approach: solid rhythm guitar with great timing, short fills, longer single notes for cool harmonies. The idea is "less is more," and "let the song breathe."
I would love to play in a larger band with drums, guitars, keys, fiddle, horns, and other interesting mixes.

EQUIPMENT
I play a 5-piece, pearl white Pacific Drums set with a custom maple snare. All Zildjian cymbals. For guitar, I play a modified Fender Strat, an American Fender Telecaster, and an ESP LTD goldtop through a Fender Blues Delux tube amp and limited pedal board (4-5 pedals, excluding tuner). For acoustic guitar, I play an acoustic/electric Larivée 6-string, which I like to drop tune a half step for a deeper, fuller sound. My pedal board also reflects how I feel about my guitar playing: I don't overdo it with too many special effects, just the tried-and-true stuff that has great tone.
