I've been playing hard rock/heavy metal/speed metal for the past 15 years.
I am looking for serious musicians (bassist/drummer) who are interested in forming up a Megadeth tribute/mostly Megadeth band, with me and a second guitar player (who is a lead guitar player in a DC thrash band called Death Echo). Both of us have music training in our backgrounds, have steady day jobs and families and enough band and gig experience to know how to avoid drama and make things work.
I have posted a recording of Ashes in your Mouth on my profile to give you an idea of the level of skill we are looking for, and I will soon post more recordings with vocals of other Megadeth songs. We are open to covering other thrash bands but mainly from music in the 80s and 90s, picking musically challenging songs like the recording I have posted (Megadeth will be the focus, because lets face it, they are the best!).
We want to gig as often as possible in the DC/MD/VA area. We have a place to practice with a full drum-kit, PA, recording, and amps.
