Adrian Valdez is a Peruvian-American Film/TV/Media Composer and Guitar Player influenced by Classic Rock, Blues, and Hard Rock music.

Originally born in Miami, FL, but later raised in Lima, Peru, Adrian started playing classical piano when he was 9 years old. He later started to learn to play Guitar when he was 13 years old after discovering all the great Classic Rock guitar players such as Carlos Santana, Jimi Page, Richie Blackmore, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Eddie Van Halen, who inspired him to switch to this incredible instrument, and start to love this music style.

When he turned 15, he formed and played as the lead guitar player in some Peruvian Rock Bands, performing live in many popular bars, clubs and music festivals in Lima-Peru. At that same age, he decided that music was going to be his career; therefore, he started to study Music Theory and learn to read and write music. He also begun to teach guitar to young children from his own School.

When he graduated from High School in Lima, he returned to Miami and got a Scholarship to study a one-year program in Jazz Guitar Performance at Miami-Dade College. He then got the opportunity to move to Ecuador and study music at the University of San Francisco in Quito, which is part of the Berklee College of Music International Network. Being enrolled there, he got the opportunity to study with great guitarists such as Scott Henderson, Jonathan Kreisberg, Mike Moreno, Jon Finn and Rick Peckham. While studying in Ecuador, he started working as a performer by playing guitar in many bands, as a session musician, and by teaching guitar as a Freelance Instructor. He got his Bachelor of Arts degree in Contemporary Music (Concentration in Arranging, Composition, and Guitar Performance) in 2013. After graduating, he decided to move back to America, but this time to Los Angeles, California, to pursue a career as a Guitar Player, Session Musician, and Film/TV/Media Composer.

Today, he is currently working as a Full-time Musician, Session Guitarist, Instructor at Guitar Center, and Composer for Film, TV, and Video Games in MIAMI, FL.
