Hey, I'm Sam. I've been working on metal music as a vocalist for 14 years and 8 years ago got into audio engineering. I have a home studio that I use for tracking and have met and played with some incredibly wonderful musicians over the years. I'm really just looking for other musicians that record for fun but if there are people local to me interested in doing shows, I'd be game for that.

EQUIPMENT
Where do I start...
As far as what I've used to record, I own a plethora of mic's ranging from the Sm7b to 57's, Neumann tl103, blue microphones and akg 414c...
My DAW runs off of an RME pci-e card and my pc is built specifically for mixing and mastering.
Most studios have more gear and flexibility than I do but I'm just a guy recording out of my house. I'm doing alright.
The only preamp I use and honestly I've never thought about changing it is the Solo 610 from Universal Audio. It's been a really good mid range preamp that has always given me what I wanted.
