Been playing since I was 5. Love playing funk, linear funk, rock backbeats, blues shuffle, jazz, latin, samba, or just going crazy on the kit. basically whatever fits the music. Have played so so many different types of music with many different musicians from pretty far reaching genres, but in the end I just groove with feeling.
Can read music but my sight reading is nowhere near what it was when I had to do it to pass classes. I need a minute or two to look over the charts basically.

EQUIPMENT
1983 Sonor Signature Bubinga kit- nothing sounds as alive, while still being versatile, in my opinion; but i’m a sonor geek, various snare drums usually maple ones, Zildjian A, K, Paiste, I love trying new different equipment but the Sonor kit is the one I never will trade or sell, and it is the one I am often playing, except in the pictures that I put up on here, where I am playing Sonor S class maple.
