SEEKING
Band to Join.ABOUT
Hi! I'm Lorelei (pronouced lor-el-lie). I've been playing guitar as a hobby for some 15-ish years, and I produce music on the side. My day job is important to me, so I am usually free in the evenings. I mainly play progressive metalcore, but I also play other punk and metal genres, as well as pop, and jazz.
Almost all my experience is from a bedroom hobbyist level. I almost went to college for trumpet performance, but dropped that in favor of programming (though I did graduate with a focus in audio signal processing).
Given the whole COVID situation, I'm not actively seeking a band but I'd be happy to plan something out for the future.

A Rainy Christmas (Instrumental)I wasn't super comfortable with my singing so just in case, I had the accompanist record a piano-only version with free reign to go wild, and they knocked it out of the park!

A Rainy Christmas
A Rainy ChristmasLyrics: It's a rainy Christmas, a colorless day 'Cause I'm feeling blue and the skies are all gray It's a rainy Christmas, no music to play The rainfall is all that I hear today Streaks on the window race to the ground No sense in moving, so here I stay There's nowehere to go, and there's no one around The day marches forward anyway There's a present waiting under the tree A parcel of joy sitting out on display With a pretty label made out to me I know 'cause I wrote it yesterday I remember a day when the weather was dryer Echoes of laughter I left behind There's the ghost of the past by a ghost of a fire Phantoms of warmth in my mind It's already sundown, and I'm getting tired The light disappears and the shadows all stay Oh I wish I could laugh this anguish away When the skies are all cloudy and gray on this rainy Christmas This rainy Christmas On this rainy Christmas...
