ABOUT

27 year old non-binary (they/she) anarchist. I am primarily a vocalist; I can do a wide array of screams, and I have been singing since I was a kid. I've picked up electronic drums, keys, and guitar (including 7-string) over the past couple years so that I can expand my skills as a musician and hopefully put together some solo projects. I'd like to do vocals, but I'm willing to fill in wherever needed if I like the music (with the exception of bass).

I am also learning music production, so I am willing to do mixing and mastering as well. I have a pretty decent set of equipment, and will be moving into a space that will be more akin to a studio here in August 2023.

While I do have moderate confidence in my abilities as a musician, I have very little band experience (outside worship band back when I used to go to church) so I'd appreciate any patience you can give me while I figure out how to start getting into band sh*t haha

Influences

I am primarily influenced by metal/hardcore bands such as Knocked Loose, Kublai Khan TX, and Stray from the Path, but I also like more shoegaze-y, dreamy vibes such as Silent Planet, Invent Animate, and Sleep Token. I also greatly appreciate heavily political hardcore punk. Linkin Park, Deftones, Breaking Benjamin, SOAD, and other alternative metal bands also have a huge influence on me from my childhood. I like groove, punch, and angry, nasty vocals.

I can appreciate indie rock as well, and I love to do more singer-songwriter-esque things from time to time. Bands like Oh Wonder, Microwave, City & Colour, Mom Jeans, and more.
