Band to Join, Vocalist.ABOUT
I've been singing since I was about 5 years old. I was always in choirs from 4th grade up and always soloed in every concert. I got scholarships to UW-Green Bay summer choir academy 2 years in a row. I won many 1st place medals in our state solo and ensemble competitions, for solos, duets, trios, and madrigal groups. I did one semester in a choir while in college and was given the only solo in that program. I started performing the national anthem at big sporting events when I was 15 and continued until I was 25. I was diagnosed with leukemia when I was 25,so I never got to pursue it any further than just having fun at karaoke. Now to be honest, I can read sheet music, but very little. I'm learn more through hearing the notes and melodies and singing it back. I can usually feel my entrances, depending accompaniment. There is one that I had to work with that you could tell she didn't feel the music, so I couldn't either.
Update: I have been in BandZaZZy since October 2015. I have broadened my song list quite a bit. It's been a wonderful experience.
