I'm basically a classically trained flutist, but I was introduced to Celtic music in the early 80's. I've been performing Celtic music for over 25 years at various festivals and events around Oregon and Northern California.
Besides flute, I also play recorders, pennywhistles, hammered dulcimer, bodhran, and bones. I can play a good solid basic guitar part but it is not an instrument I enjoy playing and never would claim to be a guitarist.
Unfortunately the band is falling apart. Our two youngest members moved to L.A., the fiddler's health has stopped him from playing, and the last member is often overwhelmed with life. And it didn't help matters when I moved 3 hours away about 17 years ago. We still managed to perform since we had over 3 hours of music and just needed one brush-up rehearsal before each performance but the last two years we might of played once.
So now I am restless to find some other musicians to start a new group. Idealistic I would love to have a trio that makes a complete show. So once you finish a tune, you instant start a vamp while you introduce the next song and then just jump into the next piece. Although our last band was known for being spontaneous at our performances and we swore, "no music was safe from us" as we would tweak the arrangements or styles of commonly known pieces.

EQUIPMENT
I don't own a sound system but prefer when possible to play acoustically. I do have my own mics, stands and cords. I would be willing to invest in a small 6 channel head.
Mostly I have a lot of instruments and music!
